The Village

 The 'Village' was designated a conservation area by the Borough of Waltham Forest in 1967. Nearby Orford Road is also a conservation area. It has a thriving local community with a variety of shops and   several popular cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Hollow Ponds and Epping Forest

Just a short walk from the school is the popular leisure and wild life area of Hollow Ponds, It is part of Epping Forest, popular with walkers and cyclists.

Central Walthamstow

The main town area of Walthamstow has easy  access to London as it is at the end of the Victoria line and also has overground links to Liverpool Street station. There is a busy market - the longest street market in Europe, and also Selborne Walk shopping mall.
