'Mobile City'

The 'mobile city' was built at Easter 1996 following the fire which destroyed most of the previous school on the site.

1970's Building

The replacement Henry Maynard Junior building, with  entrances in Brunswick Street, Comely Bank Road and Maynard Path opened in 1973-4. The Henry Maynard Infant school in Maynard Road opened soon after.

The School Today

The Henry Maynard Primary School and Nursery now exists across two sites - the Infants and Nursery are still in the 1970s building in Maynard Road and the Juniors are in the 'new' building which opened in January 1999.
